We are seeking an IT and Administration Officer to support reliable IT systems and efficient office operations for the Australia Cambodia Partnership for Climate Resilience (ACP4Climate) program in Cambodia. The role is responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining IT equipment and systems in the offices, coordinating administrative services, and ensuring a productive and well-functioning work environment.  

  • The role will be located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and is open to Cambodian nationals only

The opportunity 

Join the Australia Cambodia Partnership for Climate Resilience (ACP4Climate), the Australian Government’s flagship climate investment in Cambodia, supporting improved water resource management and climate resilience. 

As the IT and Administration Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective, secure, and reliable operation of IT systems and office infrastructure across Phnom Penh and provincial offices. You will act as the key in-country focal point for IT coordination, working closely with Tetra Tech’s corporate IT teams while supporting day-to-day administrative operations that enable program delivery. 

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact development program by strengthening operational systems and supporting teams to work efficiently and safely. 

 
Key responsibilities 

  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and user access across Phnom Penh office and provincial offices. 
  • Provide initial IT troubleshooting, technical support, and user guidance to staff, and coordinate with corporate IT shared services on system improvements and service provider to solve the technical issues 
  • Support office administration, including asset and inventory management, procurement, logistics, travel coordination, and office services 
  • Administer IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and inventory records, ensuring assets are tracked, maintained, and compliant with organisational requirements. 
  • Support office administration functions, including procurement administration, inventory management, logistics coordination, office supplies, facilities management, and general office services. 
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, training, meetings, workshops, and other administrative arrangements for staffs, and visitors. 
  • Maintain accurate asset records and tracking in accordance with ACP4Climate and Tetra Tech policies and procedures. 
  • Perform other IT and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

 
About You 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role  
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and IT systems in a busy office environment  
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Relevant experience in administration affair, operation and event arrangement 
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing responsive and focused support to staff. 
  • Experience coordinating office administration functions, facilities, service providers, asset management, and administrative processes. 
  • Strong organisational, communication skills with fluency in Khmer and good working English. 
  • Willingness to travel to program implementation areas
