Irregular Warfare Subject Matter Expert - Specialist, Department of Defense/Irregular Warfare Center Support Services, Arlington, VA, USA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in National Security, International Relations, Military Studies, or a related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in related field.  
• 10+ years of experience in special operations, intelligence, or irregular warfare policy.
• Extensive knowledge of gray zone conflict, resistance strategies, and hybrid warfare.
• Experience in DoD planning, operational strategy, and interagency coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training programs for military and government audiences.
• Proven experience working with classified and open-source intelligence to inform IW strategy.
• Familiarity with IW data, ability to conduct long-term analysis
• Understanding of social scrapping and AI/ML techniques a plus.
• Strong public speaking and writing skills, with experience briefing senior leaders and contributing to DoD policy discussions.
• Familiarity with joint, interagency, and multinational training environments.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• Active or eligible for TS/SCI or Secret. NACI depending on specific role.
