Technical Security Clerk of Works - NW England

Experience:

Given the nature of the work, experience in the following areas would be beneficial: Technical Surveillance Counter Measures, secure rooms/area use; installation; construction – any relevant specifications or knowledge of CPNI equipment is a benefit and should be highlighted. A knowledge of the building construction or consultant / contractor relationship is also useful. A knowledge of UK Government security policies and guidelines (such as GovS007, and HMG Government Security Classification 2018)

Skills

The candidate should be able to provide evidence that they have the following skills:

• Ability to maintain a documented record of activities.
• Good communications skills and the ability to form a good working relationship with construction staff and management.
• Ability to resolve or manage conflicting viewpoints.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Competent in the use of computers and MSOffice applications.
• Ability to translate site findings into a stakeholder group report.

Clearance

SC/DV: Current in-date security clearance at DV level is essential.
