Join a technically leading team delivering complex groundwater and environmental programmes that directly influence national policy, resilience planning and ecological protection.
Purpose & Scope of the Role
You will play a key role within a multi-disciplinary water resources team, delivering high-quality hydrogeological expertise across nationally significant programmes including WINEP, WRMPs, Drought Plans and abstraction sustainability studies. The role spans groundwater characterisation, modelling, monitoring design and hydro-ecological assessment, supporting regulatory submissions and long-term water resource strategies.
Depending on your level, you will contribute to or lead technical delivery, provide assurance on complex outputs, mentor colleagues and engage directly with clients and regulators.
Your Impact in this position
You will influence how water resources are assessed, managed and protected across the UK. From designing and interpreting groundwater investigations to shaping abstraction strategies and capital investment decisions, your work will underpin sustainable resource use and environmental compliance. You will also translate complex technical data into clear, defensible insights that inform stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
