Purpose & Scope of the Role
This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the growth and delivery of our Residential project portfolio. You will lead a multidisciplinary Project Management team, oversee strategic land and development programmes, and strengthen relationships with key clients. The role combines portfolio leadership, operational delivery, and business development, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality expectations while contributing to the wider Residential sector strategy.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our residential offering—building trusted client partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and leading teams to deliver complex projects successfully. Your leadership will directly influence portfolio performance, team development, and the continued growth of our presence in the residential market.
Core Capabilities
Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing project management team and support professional growth and foster a collaborative culture
Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholder and act as a trusted advisor across complex residential programmes
Project & Portfolio Delivery: Oversee delivery of multiple projects to agreed time, cost, and quality standard. Lead on governance, risk, and change management
Commercial & Financial Acumen: Manage portfolio financials including forecasting, costing, and billing. Ensure efficient resource planning and programme management
Business Development & Strategy: Identify and convert new opportunities across projects and clients and contribute to shaping and delivering the wider Residential strategy
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio management—ideally within the residential sector—is essential. You will bring strong commercial awareness, knowledge of construction contracts, and a track record in business development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are key. A proactive mindset and willingness to travel for client and project needs are expected.
Working Environment
This role offers flexible and hybrid working, with a blend of office, home, and site-based activity. Regular travel to client locations and project sites will be required. Office and/or site presence is typically expected 2–3 days per week, with flexibility to support project and client demands.
