Principal Urban Designer

You will be a talented and enthusiastic designer who holds a post-graduate qualification in urban design or a related discipline, along with professional experience leading and delivering urban design and masterplanning projects. We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate an innovative approach to regeneration and residential masterplanning and design. You will help our multi-disciplinary team to solve complex problems and work together to win major commissions. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of an established team.  

You will work at a high level, employing a range of drawing, modelling and interpersonal skills to engage, influence and collaborate with cogent clients, colleagues and stakeholders. Required technical ability includes; use of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, AutoCAD, hand sketching and 3D design software such as SketchUp. The following may also be useful; Vectorworks, Revit, GIS e.g. ArcGIS / QGIS or use of VR in design workflows.
