Principal Engineering Geologist

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• You will hold a degree and/or masters degree in geology, engineering geology or geotechnical engineering. 
• You will have substantial experience in engineering geology from desk top review stage through to interpretation including slope stability assessment, foundation recommendations, dewatering temporary works etc. 
• You will have supervised ground investigations,
• You will have experience in undertaking coal mining risk assessments and ideally experience in writing grouting specifications,
• Ideally you will also have experience in contaminated land assessment
• You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fully IT literate as you will be required to write clear, concise and technically robust reports. 
• You must have a good understanding of health, safety and environmental management, as applied to ground investigation.
• You will be a team player with strong social, interpersonal and communication skills.
