Purpose & Scope of the Role

Join our Noise and Acoustics team and contribute to technically challenging projects across residential, healthcare, education, retail, commercial and sustainable energy sectors, including battery storage and solar farms. Our clients include the UK MoD, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, local authorities and building developers, with projects ranging from the Houses of Parliament to developments across Europe.

You will support environmental noise and vibration assessments, mitigation strategies for buildings and plant equipment, Environmental Statements, discharge of conditions and post-planning building acoustics design from RIBA Stages 2–6. The role will also involve surveys, data manipulation, environmental and building acoustic testing, acoustic modelling, assessments and report writing.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

A relevant degree or technical qualification, together with an interest in acoustics, engineering or the built environment, would be beneficial. Any experience in planning, mechanical plant design, building acoustics, acoustic surveying, modelling or technical report writing is welcomed.

Working Environment

This graduate role will be based at our Leeds office, with site visits as required. It is expected that you will spend more time in the office during the initial training and development period, with hybrid, remote or flexible working available as your experience grows and project requirements allow.
