KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Pro-active liaison with employees at all levels to ensure timely collection of all necessary documentation for tenders and marketing support materials

Chairing Bid Mobilisation meetings
-
Supporting Bid Directors and Bid Managers all in accordance with the Group Bid Toolkit procedures
-
Making sure tender documents and capability statements are compliant and of appropriate quality
-
Sourcing high quality images/graphics/case studies to improve the presentation of documentation
-
Supporting the production of presentations for interviews/ client information meetings when needed
-
Proof reading/editing of proposals
-
Providing cover for Bid Director in busy periods/holidays
-
Setting up and recording actions at interim ad-hoc reviews and check point calls during the bid process.

Setting up, preparing the documentation for and attending bid start up meetings and bid review meetings including where appropriate Red Team Reviews.

Contributing exemplar text, presentations, project write ups, client testimonials to the Group Bid Library,
-
Chairing Bid Deconstruct workshops
KEY RESULT AREAS

Involved in bids and bid processes that are delivered in line with business needs making sure that risks, issues and milestones are effectively addressed
-
Making sure bids are delivered on time, within budget and in line with appropriate quality standards

Making sure that activities comply with Policy 100, Project Workflow, OPF Tracker and the Bid Toolkit Procedures

Obtain feedback/de-brief information and record as lessons learned at Bid Deconstructs

Pro-actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality, look and feel of bid documents and efficient ways of bidding

Provides the Bid Team with advice through the development and delivery of cost effective, innovative and high-quality bids.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
-
The Candidate will have experience of Project Management and will have been a Bid Manager for a major bid
-
Ability to be flexible to meet bid deadlines and to travel to other offices for bid meetings.

Ability to take a brief and produce accurate and persuasive copy
-
Attention to detail and an unwillingness to compromise on quality
-
Basic competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Project.

Excellent spoken and written English and good interpersonal skills
-
Excellent time management
-
Experience of team working and ability to create cooperative relationships.
-
Previous experience of a similar role preferably in a multi-disciplinary consultancy
-
Well organised with ability to multi-task
