Emergency Management Planner II
Below are the following requirements to qualify as an Emergency Management Planner II for Tetra Tech:
- B.S. in emergency management, environmental science, public administration, planning or related degree
- 5+ years of experience in emergency management planning
- ICS 100 and 200 training
- IS 700 and 800 training
- Experience with developing incident action plans in accordance with ICS
- Experience with coordinating and tracking resources using software systems such as Microsoft Excel and Smartsheets
- Experience in GIS, data base management, working with big data, and SQL Server Data Base Management is a plus.
- Excellent communication, client interaction, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar programs
- Proficient in computer literacy
- Proficient in collaborative and independent work environments
- Must be able to work the following schedule:
- 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, 10 – 12-hour days and will average 50 – 60 hours per week. All hours worked are paid hours. Tetra Tech will provide travel, per diem, and housing accommodations when on travel, unless staff are local to the site. Full relocation will not be necessary.
