Data Engineer (MPES)

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Software Engineering or another technical field, or related major. Relevant technical experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of data management/data administration experience
• 2+ year of experience with SAP Business Objects
• 3+ years of experience with data analysis and development of design specifications, architecture diagrams, data models, and data dictionaries
• 3+ years of experience using SQL Server including SQL, stored procedures, indexes, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision and in a team environment
• Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
• Must hold or be able to pass a Federal Background investigation to obtain a Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with Agile principles and supporting software such as: JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience with development tools such as: GIT, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with DISA security and STIGs
