Position Summary:
The TPM Consultant will support the ongoing Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) activities on MENA MELS Regional TPM Buy-in, including but not limited to the TPM Leads and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists in Amman, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon.
Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
• Work closely with the TPM lead and M&E specialists to draft data collection instruments for different modalities, including but not limited to youth, health activities, food assistance, and psychosocial support activities.
• Review existing TPM tools to adapt them to the changing situation and based on IP activities.
• Support data analysis of TPM data as well as conduct quality checks on data collected by the data collection firms.
• Support the review and/or drafting of TPM reports.
• Support the training efforts of data collection teams before IP-specific TPM activities.
• Coordinate TPM visits with data collection partners.
• Participate in the capacity building of internal teams or local partners.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of monitoring data and reports for easy access and future reference.
• Support programming TPM tools on Fulcrum.
• Support other tasks as and when requested by the senior leadership.
• Undertake other ad hoc tasks related to TPM, as agreed upon with the Regional TPM Director.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a field such international affairs, economics, sociology, social science or statistics required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in report writing and data analysis or similar role required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in developing and executing data analysis plans required.
• Demonstrated experience conducting research on developing countries, including countries affected by conflict required.
• Experience in the following sectors: health and nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene, agriculture and food security, economic recovery and market systems, multi-purpose cash assistance, and protection and shelter/settlements.
• Experience designing quantitative surveys and/or qualitative interview guides required.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Demonstrated proficiency and direct experience using Microsoft Excel and SPSS required.
• ·Advanced level English preferred.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
• This position is part-time and generally follows a standard business schedule; however, extended hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends, may be required based on project needs and deadlines.
Additional Information
• This is a short-term technical assistant (STTA) position. The expected level of effort is 15 days between July 01 – July 31, 2026.
• The position is 100% remote.
