Social Services Team Lead and Gender Advisor, USAID/Haiti Citizen Security Program, Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Required Qualifications: 

• A relevant Master’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant technical experience with at least three years in a gender advisory role.
• Must have strong leadership, program and organizational management and communication skills, as well as sound analytical abilities. 
• Extensive expertise in mainstreaming youth and gender considerations into programming.
• Extensive experience working with victims of sexual and gender-based violence.
• Extensive experience conducting gender and youth assessments.
• Experience in successfully establishing and managing collaborative relationships and partnerships with donors and government counterparts.
• Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis. 
• Proven ability to successfully lead an intercultural team in a development context, including supervising long-term field staff and short term international and local experts is required. 
• Fluency in French and or Haitian Creole preferred. 
• Experience working in Haiti or in a country with a similar level of socio-economic development is desirable.
