Senior Technical Manager, Peacebuilding & Governance, Remote

Qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in conflict resolution, international development, political science, or related area required. Master’s degree in a related field highly desired.
• Minimum eight years of progressive work experience supporting donor funded peacebuilding and governance related programming in volatile and/or fragile contexts, either in headquarters or field positions.
• Experience working in conflict-affected environments for short- or long-term periods preferred.
• Experience working on USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) or on OTI programs preferred.
• Experience providing support to the design and implementation of cutting-edge approaches in conflict management and mitigation, peacebuilding, stabilization, or governance.
• Experience in supporting or leading technical writing for project bids.
• Ability to effectively work with diverse team environment of Technical Directors, Managers, and Associates, along with Project Managers.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Strong new business and project management skills.
• Strong writing, analytical, speaking, and communication skills in English required. Professional fluency in written and spoken Spanish is highly desirable.

Pay Transparency Statement:

We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant and equitable approach to employment compensation. We commit to providing a holistic comprehensive salary analysis, including reviews of individual skill sets and compensable factors related to qualifications, business needs, internal compensation data, and industry and labor market surveys. The anticipated pay range for this position is $85,000 to $93,000 USD.
