Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social science, development studies or other relevant field of study, required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of substantive experience with M&E of donor funded projects or other data collection efforts in complex developing country environments preferred.
- Third party monitoring (TPM) experience required.
- Strong experience designing data collection instruments and overseeing collection and analysis of data.
- Experience developing data reports.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
- Proven leadership and management skills, including accountability for the quality and timeliness of the work.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Client, partners, host country government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to present complex reports to the Client, partners, host country government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to interact with government officials and others by presenting oneself in an appropriate manner in the sensitive context of work in Afghanistan.
- International humanitarian/development experience required
- Experience in Afghanistan or conflict environment strongly preferred.
- Professional written and spoken fluency in English required
