Operations Manager (OM) USAID/Guatemala, Guatemala, Guatemala City

Qualifications:

·         A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree or ten (10) years of relevant work experience without a bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience shall include experience working on donor-funded projects in a related role.

·         Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience.

·         Familiarity with MSI and USAID’s policies and procedures regarding human resources, financial management, financial reporting, and procurement processes, and grants management.

·         Financial management experience required, including budgeting; financial management (tracking, reporting and accounting); and procurement.

·         Experience with grants or small grants under contract (GUC) programs required.

·         Experience working in developing countries required. Experience working in security challenged environments highly desired or political transitions.

·         Experience with activity design, development, and implementation

·         Complete fluency in written and oral English required, fluency in written and oral Spanish required.

·         Experience working in Latin America preferred.
