Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics is required. Master’s degree in international development preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience working in a MEL role with international donors including three years of experience in applied data collection such as research or MEL data collection required.
- Minimum two years of USAID experience, including experience as a lead author of a MEL plan required.
- Experience with third party monitoring strongly preferred.
- Strong background in MEL processes and knowledge of MEL tools.
- Familiarity with development programming in DRC, including Kinshasa and eastern DRC, strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with access to justice issues in DRC, especially for marginalized groups.
- Fluency in written and spoken French required. Working proficiency in English preferred.
