Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Director, USAID/DRC Peacebuilding and Biodiversity Conservation, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

Qualifications: 

• Advanced university degree (MA or above) in social sciences, international development or economics or other fields closely related to MEL preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience working in a MEL role with international donors including 3 years of concentrated experience in applied data collection (research or MEL data collection).
• Minimum two (2) years USAID experience, including experience as lead author of a MEL plan.
• Strong background in MEL processes and knowledge of MEL tools.
• Familiarity with development programming in DRC and CAR strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in the region; DRC and CAR experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, supervision, and written/oral communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French required.
