Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation Program for Lebanon

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international development, statistics, data science or other related field required.
• Minimum two years of experience in supporting monitoring and evaluation activities required, preferably through evaluations, analyses and/or assessments of development projects.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following development activities preferred: local government and civil society strengthening; income generating activities; educational strengthening; promoting citizen advocacy through CSOs, and/or improvement of water and wastewater services.
• Experience in developing scopes of work for evaluations, assessments, or similar analytical activities.
• Experience supporting the design and implementation of evaluations, assessments, and similar analytical activities.
• Experience in conducting field data collection activities.
• Knowledge of Lebanon’s development challenges.
• Experience with USAID or other international donor technical assistance projects strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated communication and high-level report writing skills in English required.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic required.
