Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public administration, international development, business administration, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum five years of experience in grants management required, preferably with USAID-funded programs or similar donor-funded initiatives.
- Experience working with USAID or other international development organizations preferred.
- Experience providing expertise in administering grants on development programs.
- Strong understanding of donor regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with grant conditions.
- Ability to engage effectively with grantees and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including civil society, networks, and local partners.
- Ability to analyze grant proposals, reports, and financial documents to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Fluency in English and one national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, required. Proficiency in a second national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, desired.
