Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in social science, economics, public relations or another related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.  
  • Minimum five years’ experience in planning, programming, implementation, evaluation of programs focused on gender, youth, and governance is required.
  • Experience in gender, youth, and governance research and/or implementation.
  • Experience in monitoring youth and women's organizations, and in implementing good governance strategies within the groups.
  • Experience in Government or Non-Government Organization (NGO) in planning, implementing, and monitoring of gender, youth, and governance interventions.
  • Experience working with USAID projects on gender, youth, and governance matters.
  • Experience working with USAID and/or other international donors.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational analytical, interpersonal, and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Fluency in French required.
  • Advanced level English preferred.
