Evaluation Team Lead, South Sudan MELS Activity

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field required. Ph.D. is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in designing and leading evaluations of USAID-funded agriculture and livelihood activities in emergency, conflict-affected settings like South Sudan, with a successful history of managing complex evaluations is required.
• Experience in innovative evaluation tools and technologies is required.
• Experience in a leadership role to guide a multidisciplinary team required.
• Experience in multicultural environments is preferred.
• Experience with mixed-methods evaluation approaches.
• Knowledge in agriculture and livelihoods programming, emergency response, and recovery in conflict settings, focusing on sustainable development and community empowerment is required.
• Knowledge of the socio-political and cultural context of South Sudan preferred.
• Understanding of USAID regulations, evaluation guidelines, and reporting requirements is required.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and buy-in is preferred.
• Strong project management skills required.
• Strong English language skills in writing, presentation, and conversation is required.
