Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s preferably in international relations, business administration, finance, or other relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five (5) five years, with a bachelor’s, or at least seven (7) years without a bachelor’s degree, of relevant experience in progressively responsible roles on USAID or other donor funded international programs that include operations management, strategic planning, program management, resource management, finance, and budgeting.
  • A minimum of (3) three years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience overseeing procurements and service contracts in compliance with donor regulations, with demonstrated understanding of applicable regulations and best practices related to human resources, i.e., financial management and reporting, procurement processes, and grants management. Experience with USAID-funded programs is preferred.
  • Experience managing subcontracts, grants and/or grants under contract (GUC) is required.
  • Prior experience in Latin America is required, with experience in Mexico strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in written and oral English and Spanish are required.
