Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or higher is required, preferably in international relations, business administration, finance, or other relevant fields.
- Seven (7) years of experience in management roles in USAID or other donor funded international projects that include operations management, strategic planning, project management, resource management, compliance, finance and budgeting.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory management experience is required.
- Experience overseeing procurements and service contracts in compliance with donor regulations, with knowledge of USAID regulations as it relates to human resources, financial management and reporting, procurement processes, and grants management.
- Experience managing subcontracts, grants pools, grants under contract (GUC), and consultants is required.
- Knowledge of the local context as it pertains to laws, tax code, labor code and other local requirements for smooth contract and project implementation in the DRC.
- Prior experience in DRC is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, supervision, and written/oral communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French required.
