Deputy Chief of Party – Programs (DCOP-P) USAID/ El Salvador, San Salvador, El Salvador

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree or ten (10) years of relevant work experience without a bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience entails working on donor-funded projects in a related role.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
• Experience in developing and administering grants or small grant programs, preferably with a donor, Contractor or international NGO managing an office or program.
• Experience working directly with Salvadoran grantees on activity development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs related to the SOW.
• Familiarity with USAID’s policies and rapid grants programming is preferred.
• Experience in program planning and implementation in a fast-paced environment and under ad-hoc basis.
• Experience implementing/managing programming directed at impacting a political transition highly desired.
• Preferred supervisory experience working with culturally and geographically diverse staff.
• Complete fluency in written and oral Spanish required. Work proficiency in written and oral English highly desired.
