Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a field relevant to organizational development, learning, development assistance, political science, sociology, communications, or a closely related field.
- At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in learning and adaptive management, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, facilitation, business process improvement and/or knowledge management.
- Experience in applying learning to improve development programming preferred. Professional work experience related to USAID’s CLA initiative a plus.
- Outstanding facilitation skills demonstrated by successful past facilitation of learning and other events.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Sri Lankan counterparts and government officials.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong experience with USAID rules and regulations.
- Prior experience in the region is preferred, with experience in Sri Lanka strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, supervision, and written/oral communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Tamil and/or Sinhala.
