Chief of Party, USAID/Municipal Community Support Program, Beirut, Lebanon

Qualifications: 

• Advanced degree in international development, peace building, conflict resolution or other relevant field preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in managing peacebuilding and social cohesion related donor funded programs required.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of related technical areas such as peacebuilding, conflict prevention, social cohesion, service delivery, workforce development and/or wastewater management, in conflict and post-conflict environments.
• Demonstrated capability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of high-level host country governments, and international agencies.
• Prior experience supervising large teams on donor-funded projects, preferably funded by USAID.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with national and local government counterparts and civil society organizations.
• Financial management experience required, including budgeting; financial management (tracking, reporting, and accounting); and procurement.
• Prior experience in the Middle East; Lebanon experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, supervision, and written/oral communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required; Arabic and French preferred.
