Chief of Party, Egypt Economic Courts Activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, human rights, public policy, development studies, or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience supervising complex, fast-paced, politically oriented operations in emerging democracies is required.
• Experience serving as a COP, DCOP, or equivalent position is required.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the Middle East is preferred.
• Experience with working on USAID-funded projects is preferred.
• Experience and technical knowledge in digital governance projects preferred.
• Experience supervising diverse teams on complex donor-funded projects of similar size and scope.
• Experience developing solid working relationships and manage a broad range of stakeholders, including government and judicial institutions and training academies.
• Experience monitoring project performance in achieving results, specifically pertaining to user satisfaction with justice services and institutional performance.
• Experience embedding do no harm and risk mitigation principles comprehensively into project activities and management, including mitigating against negative unintended consequences and safeguards to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse.
• Fluency and proficiency in written and spoken English required. Arabic language skills would be a plus.
