Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture science: agriculture, agronomy or other relevant disciplines required. Master’s degree in agriculture is preferred.
- Minimum five years of professional work experience in planning, programming, implementation of programs focused on agriculture and food security activities required. Experience working in a humanitarian context is preferred.
- Relevant technical work experience required in at least three or more of the following areas: food security; data collection, monitoring and evaluation; and government or non-government organization experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring of agriculture interventions.
- Understanding of the DRC context, provinces/territories where monitoring activities are being conducted.
- A record of working on assignments that have delivered high quality reports to USAID and or other donors required.
- Experience working with USAID and/or other international donors required.
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and team management skills required.
- Fluency in French required. Advanced level English preferred.
