Transmission Line Engineer - Massachusetts (Remote)
Requirements:
- University Degree in Engineering or College Technical background (Electrical, Structural/Civil or Mechanical)
- 7+ years of related engineering or design experience
- Experience with transmission stations structures and overhead transmission lines with operating voltages not less than 115 kV. Design experience with direct embedded poles, pole/tower foundations, and guy anchors
- Previous experience in the design of transmission lines is mandatory
- Consulting engineering experience is an asset
- Must have strong computer skills (familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, MathCAD, and transmission line design software PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole & Tower, SAGSEC and CAISSON etc...)
- Familiarity with structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SFrame, RISA, etc. is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills are required. Candidate must effectively work as part of the multidiscipline design team and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian province is considered an asset
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the United States is Mandatory
