Sr Environmental Engineer - Irvine, CA
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience is required, with a history of increasing responsibility
Proven track record of developing and growing the business
Ability to build an environmental/geoscience team and mentor staff
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training required. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training and 8-hour OSHA Supervisors of Hazardous Waste Operations Training preferred
Strong track record in identifying opportunities and developing strategies to win targeted pursuits.
Strong network of clients and long-standing, established relationships within the commercial environmental market sector.
Experience with proposal writing, and cost estimating to obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors
Ability to interface with clients, subcontractors, working groups, and internal customers
Ability to work closely with senior management and operations to develop pursuit strategies for perspective projects
Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability developing and delivering effective presentations and proposals to customers and management.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required. Advanced degree preferred
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required
