Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer
About you:
- The skill set and passion for both engineering and leadership with the ability to manage and deliver electrical engineering design across a wide range of sectors.
- Proven experience of working in Revit and Navisworks software to support the engineering team and to achieve the successful delivery of projects.
- Experience of using MagiCAD software would be advantageous.
- You will hold as a minimum security clearance to MOD SC level and ideally be at or able to attain clearance to DV level.
Your skills will include:
- Educated to at least degree level in electrical engineering, building services engineering or architectural engineering
- Chartered and member of relevant body (working towards this will be considered)
- Relevant experience in electrical consultancy engineering
- Experience in the management of building services projects from concept through to handover
- Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD, Revit and IES software is essential
- Proven ability to develop designs conscious of energy conservation, sustainability and with a knowledge basis of renewable technologies
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to teach and mentor junior engineers to aid their development and improve the quality of engineering output
