Senior Power Systems Engineer (Remote)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with study of power systems.
- 6+ years of experience working in electrical design, including design of energy generation projects.
- Familiarity with use of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Demonstrated understanding of solar-PV system design using central or string-based inverters.
- Must have a PE and be able to get PEs in other states with comity.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience modeling solar performance with PVSyst.
- Experience with rapid development of solar layouts in HelioScope.
- Experience performing studies and analysis with ETAP or similar power system software.
- Experience with HOMER software suite for microgrid optimizations is a plus.
- Experience with use of Energy Toolbase for BESS performance analysis is a plus.
- Experience with power metering, microgrid controllers, SCADA, and SEL relays is a plus.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 yr.
