Senior Level Planner
Experience Required:
(1) Expert knowledge of NEPA.
(2) Knowledge of the United States Air Force, USACE or other DoD organizations.
(3) Preparing studies and assessments pursuant to NEPA.
(4) Experience supporting DoD Environmental Programs such as environmental planning, environmental quality, and natural and cultural resources.
(5) Working knowledge of CEQA, Threatened and Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, and Cultural Resource Laws/Regulations.
(6) Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental issues in the state of California and surrounding states.
Skills Required:
(1) Excellent communications, technical report writing, and fact and research finding.
(2) Data analyses and reporting.
(3) Computer skills, MS Excel, Word.
Education Required:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Environmental Studies or related field. An advanced degree is preferred and/or certification.
