Senior Electricity Market Specialist - Ukraine
Essential KSA's Required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, economics, business or related field acceptable to Tetra Tech;
- Minimum 10-year experience in the electricity sector. Experience in electricity market regulations, specifically in implementation of the market reform is a plus;
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis and reporting of electricity market trends and strategies;
- Demonstrated Experience in design/operation of trading mechanisms in the organized wholesale electricity market (e.g. day-ahead, intra-day, balancing and bilateral contracts markets), financial settlement and clearing mechanism, market monitoring, cross-border trade;
- Strong understanding of electricity market dynamics and price formation mechanisms in different segments of the market, as well as electricity market integration/coupling compliant with EU energy acquis;
- Demonstrated experience in operation/managing of supplier switching and renewable energy supporting mechanisms in the organized wholesale electricity market, including physical and financial settlement of these mechanisms;
- Experience in similar projects on electricity market development and international/regional regulatory cooperation on development of competitive electricity markets is desired. Experience with EU and Eastern European countries a plus;
- Demonstrated experience in project management and working with and coordination of various stakeholders;
- Experience of working in Ukraine is highly desired;
- Proficiency in English. Proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian is a plus.
- Proficiency in office computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
