Renewable Energy (RE) Power Procurement Specialist - Indonesia

Essential KSAs required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.): 

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in power procurement, energy sector, power sector and renewable energy sector.  
• Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or law in energy policy. 
• Have a robust and strong understanding and knowledge on Indonesia energy and power sector is a must.  
• Proven experience working with Indonesia’s power sector stakeholders, such as MEMR, PLN, IPP.  
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (reading, writing, and oral presentation) 

Valued but not required KSAs:

• Indonesian national or current resident of Indonesia 
• Hold procurement certification such as CPST (Certified Procurement Strategist), CPSP (Certified Procurement Specialist) is advantageous 
• Familiarity with USAID procedures and practices for quality control, including monitoring 
• Have exposures working on power sector reform issues in developing countries is advantageous. 
• Have understanding and or exposure to precedent of Indonesia sector framework reforms is advantageous. 

Physcial demands & work enviornment:

• Office Setting, Domestic Travel
