Qualifications:

  • Degree in public administration, public policy, business administration, economics, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience working in designing, implementing and monitoring activities related to public administration reform, open government and strengthening governance systems in Honduras required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in public financial management and e-governance required.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in establishing strong working relationships with governmental institutions required.
  • Previous experience managing or supporting governance programs for USAID or similar donors in Honduras strongly preferred.
  • Experience providing assistance on institutional development to public administration institutions and capacity-building of civil servants strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Honduran anti-corruption and public administration reform agenda and leading public administration institutions.
  • Fluency in Spanish with excellent written and oral communications skills required, with proficiency in English strongly preferred.
