Proposal Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in English/Writing/Rhetoric, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• 3-5 years of proposal management and coordination experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in research, technical, and/or creative writing
• Must be team-oriented, reliable, dependable, flexible, and highly responsive to internal clients, as well as other members of the BDS team
• Must be able to work remotely independently and as part of a dispersed team
• Proven ability to plan, resource, and organize proposal teams
• Ability to evaluate sources, conduct research, and analyze findings using internal databases (e.g., Oracle) and external subscription services and websites
• Proven track-record of developing and delivering winning proposals
• Demonstrated experience managing government proposals (preferred)
• Experience in or deep knowledge of specific markets, service areas, and/or clients relevant to Tetra Tech’s operations (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities, including willingness to work extended hours as necessary to meet client-driven deadlines

• Excellent organizational, communications, and time-management skills
• Exceptional ability to think strategically, read critically, and write creatively
• Strong writing/re-writing and editing skills required (proofreading skills a plus)
• Ability to deliver effective feedback techniques that motivate teams
• Software: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook, SharePoint, Skype for Business, Adobe Acrobat X Pro
• Must be proficient in MS Word style functions
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
