Project Accountant

Essential KSA’s required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):

• 2 years of relevant work experience in Government project accounting 
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required or equivalent job experience including experience preparing client invoices for US Government agencies and/or other quasi-governmental organizations                    
• Basic or Intermediate MS Excel skills                            
• Ability to work with complex data and assess, interpret, and apply government and commercial contract terms, requirements, and specifications               
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail                            
• Strong communication and customer service skills                            
• Strong organizational and time management skills required

Valued but not required KSA’s:

• Knowledge of GAAP is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with internal controls and internal audits.
