A university degree (bachelors or higher) in law, international development, or a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred

Minimum 15 years of experience working on or managing development programs, preferably in the area of democracy and governance; security, policing, rule of law, and training management

Demonstrated knowledge of USG regulations, FAR preferred
-
Prior experience with OPDAT, ICITAP and the US Department of Justice preferred

Understanding of supporting international field operations, as well as related supervisory and management functions is highly desirable

Experience working with senior government officials, either in the US or with foreign governments

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of development languages, including French, Spanish or Arabic is an advantage

Applicants must meet the following residency requirements: He/she must have lived in the U.S. three of the last five years and/or worked for the U.S. overseas in a Federal or military capacity; and/or be a dependent of a Federal or military employee serving overseas

Must be able to obtain a security clearance
