Piping Engineer -- Atlanta, GA
Qualifications
· BS in Engineering required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
· 8+ years related engineering experience.
· Knowledge of strength of materials, mechanics, and structural analysis, pipe stress analysis for plants and long pipelines. Mechanical design for expansion/contraction, pulsation, and thrust.
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or CADWorx/ and or Revit, CAESAR II, and or AutoPIPE piping analysis
· Design experience in ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 12, API 650, NFPA codes and ASME BPVC Section VIII
· Cooperates with other team members; interacts with individuals at all organizational levels in professional manner.
· Exhibits excellent listening, oral and written skills.
· Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under time sensitive deadlines.
· Occasional overtime and travel will be required.
