Offshore Wind Technical Lead/Environmental Project Manager, Renewables

Requirements:

• B.S. in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Marine Science/Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 to15+ years of professional experience with a pattern of progressive achievements.
• Strong technical background in marine/coastal/offshore setting.
• Experience with marine ecology, NEPA/Federal and state permitting, offshore wind, oil and gas, power generation and transmission, infrastructure, and/or renewable energy is desired.
• Successful candidate will be a seller-doer with strong, technical background in permitting marine/offshore energy projects, project management skills, and client/stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated successful project management skills, especially leading teams in diverse geographic locations.
• Applied knowledge of offshore biological, physical, and cultural resources are important.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills to convey technical information to clients and business and financial reports to management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree Marine Science/Engineering or related background.
• 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing major projects with complex project teams is preferred.
• ArcGIS experience.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $160,000 yr.
