Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in a relevant field, i.e. business management, public administration, statistics, economics, public policy, social science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience providing technical and management support for M&E activities, preferable for USAID projects.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct site visits to partners throughout the country for on-the-job training and capacity building assistance to partners, as may be needed.
  • Experience with collection and analysis of data (quantitative and qualitative) from primary and secondary sources.
  • Experience conducting data quality assessments desirable.
  • Experience integrating USAID’s Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation (CLA) initiatives into M&E programming preferred.
  • Experience with data entry and retrieval using excel format M&E databases required.
  • Proven experience to synthesize data for reports using different formats (monitoring, evaluation summaries, newsletters, monthly/quarterly reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
  • Strong self-initiative: ability to implement and manage M&E activities proactively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in Honduras or Northern Triangle region required.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English with excellent oral and written communication skills required.
