Mechanical Piping Designer
- 5 years + experience in process piping design
- Ability to effectively plan time commitments on multiple concurrent projects
- Strong interpersonal skills for both client and internal team interfaces
- Flexible with changing schedules and work situations
- Previous experience with piping design and material requirements for industrial work.
- Experience in Oil & Gas sector would be an asset.
- Proficient in AutoCad 3D, AutoPlant, and CADWorx
- Smart Plant and Microstation experience is an asset.
- Previous experience using intelligent P&ID’s an asset
- Familiar with 3D Cloud points and as-built 3D modeling tools such as LFM BubbleView/Modeler or CADWorx FieldPipe
- Solidworks or Inventor experience is an asset
- Engineering Design and Drafting Technology diploma (BCIT, SAIT, NAIT or equivalent) or Process Piping Drafting Certificate.
- Travel within Western Canada periodically to client sites may be required
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
