Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred.
• Two to five years’ experience with construction and heavy equipment operation.

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, landscaping, and minor interior repair.
• Noxious weed control and pest control experience a plus.
• Ability to pass background check to enter secure area
• A current, valid Colorado Driver’s license in good standing; a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.  
• Must be able to work independently or as a team member on work orders.
• Candidate should possess direct experience in similar position and be located in the Pueblo, CO area. In addition, candidate must have excellent attention to detail, customer service skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work unsupervised and with a variety of people.
• Basic Computer Skills including email (Microsoft Outlook) and ability to complete online timesheet required.
• Ability to respond to “on-call” requests outside of normal depot hours as necessary, especially for snow removal tasks
• Must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in the English language; speaking, writing, reading with the ability to fluently to engage with co-workers.

COLORADO EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK: This position pays $20/hour
