Instructional Designer
Essential KSA’s required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working as a courseware developer with multimedia development experience utilizing web-based course authoring software.
• Bachelor’s degree in courseware development, instructional design, or relevant subject area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated Mastery of E-Learning development tools, graphic design software, and learning management systems.
• Proactive interpersonal interviewing, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Celebrates feedback and collaboration as part of daily work interactions
• Detail and deadline oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Basic HTML, HTML5, and Flash programming knowledge
• Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation is a must
Valued but not required KSA’s:
• Instructional Designer or Course Developer Certification from ATD
• Project Management (PMP) Certification
