Highway Engineer
Qualifications:
• A university degree in engineering (Civil Engineering)
• 8+ years of working experience as an Engineer on transportation-related projects is preferred.
• Working experience in the principles and practices of transportation engineering as applied to the design and construction of projects.
• Working knowledge of CAD design software and process and able to lead the design production.
• Experience working with NMS, MMCD, and BC MoTI Specifications are considered an asset.
• Background in mining processes an asset.
• Background in designing and constructing within the Arctic an asset.
• Demonstrated report writing ability with the delivery of a high-quality product.
• Previous experience in developing project execution plans and budgets.
• Good experience in writing proposals and presenting projects to clients.
• Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills
• Construction experience is an asset
• Work developing implementing construction specifications
