Geologist/Hydrogeologist – Boise, ID
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Resources or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or higher in one of these disciplines is a plus.
- 10+ year’s work experience in environmental consulting or related field with an ability to demonstrate roles of increasing task or management responsibilities.
- PE or PG registration or the ability to acquire a relevant professional registration is a plus.
- OSHA/MSHA certifications are a plus.
- An understanding and experience in winning work in the southern Idaho market as well as regionally, which includes the Intermountain West.
- A thorough knowledge of environmental requirements/regulations associated with soil and groundwater remediation.
- The ability to interpret and understand federal, state and local environmental regulations.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofing, organizational, analytical, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently or with a team to complete work products, to meet specific desired objectives and deadlines, and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, and projects concurrently.
- The ability to successfully manage small or large groups of professional staff.
- A highly cooperative personality and the ability to collaborate with various types/levels of individuals and professions within industrial and governmental settings.
- Experience in working in the mining, commercial energy, transportation, linear features or the oil and gas industry is also preferred.
- Modeling and or simulations related to geology and/or hydrogeology is a plus.
- Occasional travel may be required.
