Environmental Planner/Permitting Project Manager – Bothell, WA
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant science, land use planning, or landscape architecture or engineering discipline
5-10 years of relevant experience with siting and permitting – experience with utility or energy facilities a plus
Have an understanding the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and state siting and permitting processes, such as Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) and Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC)
Have excellent research, analytical, writing, oral communication and organizational skills
Have the ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and work closely with team members located across other offices
Have strong task management skills in successfully scoping and managing project teams and deliverables
Preference for experience in preparing and processing various county, state (in the Pacific NW), and federal land use permits as well as preparation of documents to meet the requirements of EFSC
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project are necessary to perform the responsibilities of this position
