The ideal candidate will have experience:


  • Conducting regular inspections at workplace to determine risk, safety opportunities and biohazards, and hazardous materials.
  • Developing action plans for programs within workplace.
  • Using specialized equipment/instruments to measure hazards such as airborne contaminants.
  • Providing training to employees to reduce/eliminate injury in the workplace. 
  • Providing injury and disease risk assessments to variety of work environments
  • Working in the field of Industrial Hygiene
  • Experience conducting multi-media sampling in the field (including asbestos, lead, and environmental media) is a plus.

Must have strong oral and written communication, client relations, and organizational skills. Must be highly motivated, customer focused and work well both independently and in a team environment. Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload and travel as needed. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass a motor vehicle records check. In addition, must have strong communication and leadership skills; strong problem-solving and analytical experience; ability to work in a team environment, but individually when necessary; Experience in fast-paced work environments, and a self-starter.   Must have strong oral and written communication, client relations, and organizational skills. Physical Demands can consist of standing for long periods of time when off-site or sitting when in office. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.  Up to 25% travel may be required to oversee multiple workplaces/sites. Potential exposure to toxic environment with hazardous materials. Will be working on construction sites. Exposure to all seasons including hot & cold environments.
